Archiving Policy
JFR: Journal of Finance and Reporting is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content.
JFR uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to support distributed digital preservation and protect published articles from permanent loss.
Through these archiving systems, copies of the journal’s content may be stored in multiple participating libraries and preservation networks. This enables published materials to remain accessible even if the journal’s primary website becomes temporarily or permanently unavailable.
JFR applies a permanent open-access archiving model. All published articles are intended to remain freely accessible without an embargo period.
The journal also permits authors to deposit and preserve their published articles in:
- Institutional repositories;
- Subject-based repositories;
- Personal or academic websites;
- Academic networking platforms; and
- Other noncommercial digital archives.
Authors must provide proper acknowledgment of the original publication in JFR, including the article title, author names, journal name, publication details, and permanent article link or DOI when available.
JFR is committed to maintaining complete publication records, including article metadata, abstracts, full texts, references, and supplementary materials, to ensure the continuity and integrity of the scholarly record.
