Authors who publish articles in ZICONS: Zawiyah International Conference on Sharia and Legal Studies (Proceedings Journal) agree to the following terms:

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). This license permits others to share the work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and to the initial publication in this journal.

Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal-published version of the work (for example, depositing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided that acknowledgment is given that the work was first published in this journal.

Authors are also permitted and encouraged to post their work online (for example, in institutional repositories or on personal websites) prior to and during the submission process.
